PERSONAL HISTORY

Ken and I are from Indiana, born and raised in the Indianapolis area. We met at a Square Dance in 1988 and were married in July 1989. We have lived in the Central Florida area since 1992. We have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. Our twin grandchildren, Amber and Timmy, are graduating this year (2006) and are heading off to college.

When time permits, we try getting away on short trips and visit various historical sites. We belong to the Central Florida Miata Club and take a few trips in our Miata with the group. There are several gatherings throughout the year that are scheduled by the members who volunteer to arrange the events.

Ken used to have a motorcycle, but gave it up for the Miata convertible, I like it better. Ken has participated in the 60 to 100 mile Bicycle Festival event in Mt Dora. Ken and I both participated in the Inverness Bike Trail Rides. Ken did the 60 mile I did the 25 mile ride.

Since our teaching and dancing takes a lot of our time we do try to have some time of our own. Ken likes to read a lot, and I just like to relax with some quiet time or with some good music, or even watch the old movies when I get a chance.
